policy
Which small notes this site leaves in your browser, which ones need your permission, and how to change your mind in one click.
This is the English version, provided so that our international visitors can read it. The official document is the Italian Cookie Policy, kept up to date and published by iubenda. Where the two texts differ, the Italian one prevails. We check the Italian version every day and update this page when it changes.
What a cookie actually is
A cookie is a small note that a website leaves in your browser so that it can recognise something later — that you have already answered the banner, for instance, or what you put in your basket. Some notes are indispensable; others exist only to count visitors. This page tells you which ones we leave and why.
Nothing that is not strictly necessary runs before you have said yes. Until you answer the banner, the measurement scripts sit on the page switched off.
1. Strictly necessary — always on
Without these the site cannot do its job. They need no consent because they only do what you asked for.
- iubenda — remembers the answer you gave to the cookie banner, so you are not asked again on every page. Kept about 12 months. Provider: iubenda S.r.l., Italy.
- Your basket — the shop keeps the contents of your basket in your browser’s own storage, so it survives if you move between pages. Provider: Shopify.
- The language of the basket — we store one line,
brunozzi_lingua_carrello, so that if you switch between Italian and English the basket starts again in the right language instead of showing you product names you cannot read. It is ours, it stays in your browser, and it goes nowhere.
2. Measurement — only if you accept
- Google Analytics 4 (
_ga,_ga_…) — counts visits and tells us which pages are read and which are ignored. Kept up to two years. Provider: Google Ireland Ltd.
We read totals, not individuals. If you refuse, the site works exactly the same: we simply learn less.
3. Advertising and profiling — none
There are no advertising cookies on this site, no retargeting pixels, no social network trackers. The links to Instagram, Facebook and YouTube at the bottom of the page are ordinary links: nothing is loaded from those networks until you actually click and leave.
The booking page
On the booking page the calendar is supplied by Regiondo (Regiondo GmbH, Germany). When the calendar loads it may set its own technical cookies to keep your booking session together. If you complete a booking you are then on Regiondo’s own pages, under their policy.
Something that is not a cookie, but you should know about
Type fonts. The lettering is served from our own server. It used to come from Google Fonts, which disclosed your IP address to Google on every page load; since 4 August 2026 the files live here and no third party is involved.
Server logs. Our hosting provider records the usual technical information — IP address, browser, time — to keep the site running and safe. Again, not a cookie, and not used to profile anyone.
Changing your mind
You can change or withdraw your choices whenever you like, and it takes one click: open the cookie preferences. The same link sits at the bottom of every page on this site.
You can also clear or block cookies from your browser’s own settings — every browser has the option under privacy or security. Be aware that blocking everything may stop the basket from working.
Where the rest is written
Who we are, what we do with the data these tools collect and how to have it deleted is all in the Privacy Policy.
